The media has been screaming really over the last few days about how unfair, it all it, that the people of the United states do not want the same hope and change that the media wants, that is puzzling really because you have to wonder what is going through their minds.
The media used to be a noble profession, one of the first to begin publishing in this nation,
was a patriot and a printer by profession.
Things have changed, and over time, we now have something that is not what it once was, in fact we have what many consider to be a third party, a third wheel, that is very much in the spot light they pretend to be reporters, but they all have an agenda.
To combat this lazy reporting and illogical practices Fox news became famous for its fair and balanced news coverage, however that may not be as compelling as it once was Fox news became rich over this style of coverage however they have slowly begun to move in the wrong direction on how it covers politics, with so many liberal voices some say that was the real reason that allegedly Glenn Beck left fox news because it has hired so many liberal bobble heads that it was no longer the network of the fair and balanced.
Who knows for sure if it is true or not, but one thing is clear Fox news is no longer what it was back in 2000.
What seems to be slowly taking place is a tendency to frame the news in a certain light, which some other networks have tried to do and failed, allegedly NBC is one of those news companies that have failed to provide real and substantial coverage.
The thing is and this is important, if we cannot trust the media to cover the news, then are we not doomed to repeat our mistakes because if we no longer have a free press then what do we have?
If the press is no longer covering and uncovering the news because they are all about pushing an agenda over the facts then how can we as a people move forward?
How can we challenge our selves to produce a better way of life for our children?
The answer is we cannot, and that is sad, which is why more and more Americans and world wide millions of people are getting their news from the Internet, because you will not read a news story like this on CNN or NBC or CBS, because they do not cover the news anymore, (allegedly) you will see a twisted version of what they think the news should be again ( allegedly)
So the question remains, and this is important, when a nation has no freedom to speak and no freedom to say what should be said, then that nation is no longer free.
