Why is the State of Florida pursuing the death Penalty when it is allegedly obvious that this is not a death penalty case?

When the Orange county Legal offices, routinely and allegedly over charge a case is this very close to the legal line?
Should the state be engaging in legal tactics, allegedly for the purpose of coercing a suspect into a confession or plea bargain?
This is a serious issue and it is something that needs to be examined, the constitution exists for a purpose it was created to prevent this type of insult to the people, yet somehow in the state of Florida it is ok, allegedly to engage in these particularly unusual tactics.
Is tax payer money being wasted?
