Election Day legal news

In a nation where about half the peo­ple do not vote and the oth­er half are even­ly divid­ed about every­thing you can imag­ine.

We are about to see what may be a big legal bat­tle and to prove  that have a look at this news sto­ry.

Law360, New York (Novem­ber 03, 2014, 7:10 PM ET) — Up to 50 lead­ing law firms from across the coun­try, includ­ing Kil­patrick Townsend & Stock­ton LLP and Davis Polk & Wardell LLP, are orga­niz­ing teams to help out at the polls and run call cen­ters in their offices, ready to do their part to ensure that Tues­day’s elec­tion runs smooth­ly.

The firms’ Elec­tion Day assis­tance is orga­nized in con­junc­tion with Elec­tion Pro­tec­tion, a vot­er pro­tec­tion pro­gram spear­head­ed by the Lawyers’ Com­mit­tee for Civ­il Rights Under Law.

What is even more inter­est­ing is the sim­ple fact that in a bloomberg arti­cle, the title says GOP read­ies 1000 lawyers but it does not men­tion that the DNC also have thou­sands of lawyers ready to spring into action.

This is the kind of biased news cov­er­age that peo­ple are sick and tired of encoun­ter­ing.

Peo­ple are not igno­rant and back­ward as the media obvi­ous­ly believes that we are.

When you look at what they are doing with the news you have to won­der just how “smart” they actu­al­ly are.

When you ana­lyze  the truth between the lies in the media cov­er­age, its easy to see that either they are inten­tion­al­ly obtuse or the world in which they live is twist­ed and bent in a direc­tion that the rest of the world can­not under­stand nor do they want to under­stand.
