Separation of Church and State is a lie

Could it be true that what some have believed for years is based on a lie?

On 9/11 this year the (Mayor who is likely on his last term as Mayor) cited the separation of Church and state, as his reason for banning, Clergy and Prayer, from the 911 ceremonies, it is interesting, that we can so easily be lied to and so many people seem to say ok, it seems like an odd thing.

Originally the “So Called Separation of Church and State, was meant to keep the Roman Catholic Church Officials from holding important Government positions, or important state positions, simple as that, back in the time when this was written into the constitution, part of the troubles that the framers of the Constitution saw was that there were some in power that were both highly ranked leaders in the Church and also they were highly ranked and powerful leaders in the State, which would call for some likely difficult situations, this was all it was designed to do, however we have over the years accepted a lie in exchange for the truth of what history was.

For those that know a little about history, there was a problem with some Church Officials, being also involved in government, this was a source of alleged corruption, however what this has become is everything even a symbol of any kind of religion is now considered, (at least for those who are not educated and do not know history) like Bloomberg, they consider even things like a Christmas tree as a violation, if prayer is a violation then how long before they twist bend and mutilate the truth until they imprison even those that would think a prayer.

The thought police, yes, sounds crazy but that is the end result when you first begin to twist the trust into a lie.
