Peo­ple often ask me if it is hard to be a black con­ser­v­a­tive.

My answer is an emphat­ic NO. What would be hard is being a black lib­er­al. You see, the con­ser­v­a­tive move­ment pro­motes the ide­al that any

indi­vid­ual can be any­thing they want as long as they are will­ing to work hard for their dreams. The real­i­ty of the Lib­er­al agen­da is that “this is all you can be and we will take care of you as long as you keep vot­ing for us”.

For me, the choice is pret­ty sim­ple because I refuse to allow any­one to tell me who I am.
