Who did it? Citizens want to know…

The news has been pro­lif­er­at­ed with con­tent about sus­pects, arrests and addi­tion­al infor­ma­tion that has proved in sev­er­al instances to be incor­rect.

In some cas­es there have been reports that reporters want to see a cer­tain eth­nic­i­ty involved in the case.

This is hor­ri­ble more so when you con­sid­er that if they had men­tioned any­one with a col­or oth­er than white it would have been the news sto­ry of the day.

When there is an arrest, it will not mat­ter what his skin col­or is because it is not about what col­or he or she is.

It is about igno­rance and evil, it is about the hor­ror of tar­get­ing inno­cent chil­dren and women and at the end of the day not one sin­gle Gun Ban will have stopped this from hap­pen­ing.

Not one sin­gle ban of cook­ing equip­ment would have stopped this from hap­pen­ing.

The only thing that would have stopped this from hap­pen­ing is a more detailed police pres­ence trained in detect­ing these kinds of issues.

We became com­pla­cent and the peo­ple paid for that com­pla­cen­cy.

When you pass laws that cre­ate igno­rance and when you fail to pro­tect the peo­ple it is a prob­lem that we all must face.
