We think that the unions are not really as bad as it appears that they are, we think that perhaps it is a few bad apples that are engaged in this struggle to control everything around them, it is misguided at best and at worst it is traitorous activity, subversive and evil.
But is it really as bad as that?
I do not believe that all unions are this way, and I do not even believe that most unions are this way, it is very possible that some union leaders may need to be given a pink slip and new leadership found that are of the old way, where unions helped provide benefits for its workers, not donated to elected officials in an effort to obtain an unfair advantage.
Still there are some compelling facts that are at issue here and so here is the email I received today un edited in any way.

Originally, labor unions served an honorable cause. But after many decades, they have become a political machine that is blind to the true needs of its members. By trading cash for votes and using intimidation tactics against any who refuse to bow to them, unions have grown into an unwieldy beast that exists only to amass more power and money for itself, under the abjectly false claim of representing hardworking public sector employees like teachers and firefighters from whom they extort massive fees and manipulate in return.
This crooked alliance between money and political power is living in the past. The Tea Party and individuals like Gov. Walker are fighting against the old way of doing business. We are fighting for smaller, more effective, more nimble, responsive and accountable government. We are fighting to break the bonds that unions hold over our governments, our states, and individual employees.
While we may have thought the battle is over, unfortunately it has just begun. Even now the old alliance is gathering massive resources to attack, demonize, and ultimately RECALL Gov. Walker and 8 Republican Senators who stood strong with him. If we allow the public to keep believing the blatant lies of the labor unions, they just might succeed.
That is why Tea Party Express has formulated a plan that we will be making more public in the coming days. While we are up against tremendous odds, this is a fight that we will all tell our grandchildren about, and it is the very reason the tea party movement began.
