Over the last few months the tri­al of Casey Antho­ny was a great demon­stra­tion of how not to pros­e­cute a case.

You saw evi­dence sub­mit­ted that was not even sci­en­tif­i­cal­ly sound, (an elec­tron­ic snif­fer gad­get) which is based on some pret­ty shaky, sci­en­tif­ic ground, it has been used effec­tive­ly for detect­ing crim­i­nal actions, like the pres­ence of car­bon based sub­stances, how­ev­er, the way it was used here, not good, not accu­rate, and most of all, prob­a­bly not a good fit for the case.

Then you look at the State of Flori­da, they could have got Casey Antho­ny for Manslaugh­ter, she would still be in jail and like­ly for a long time, 5 six years or so, but they want­ed to put her to death, the prob­lem was that they also had no direct evi­dence link­ing her to a crime.

They did not have any evi­dence that showed the infant died in any par­tic­u­lar way, acci­den­tal­ly or oth­er­wise, they could not real­ly say one way or the oth­er, oh they tried, to say it was on pur­pose, but that was just not believ­able, because in cas­es that involve a first per­son mur­der of a child, it is almost always a man that is the per­son respon­si­ble, sta­tis­tics, prove this out, time and time again, (alleged­ly) yet the media includ­ing bill oriel­ly want­ed to see a con­vic­tion and like­ly a tele­vised, (alleged­ly) event, of an exe­cu­tion, but that real­ly was nev­er going to hap­pen because again, you cant go around putting peo­ple to death with­out any direct evi­dence of a crime.

So, the state of Flori­da end­ed up spend­ing huge amounts of mon­ey, on this tri­al, they end­ed up with noth­ing but lying to offi­cers, (debat­able, because she alleged­ly was nev­er han­dled prop­er­ly by inves­ti­ga­tors, anoth­er black mark on the state of Flori­da) you would think that the state would be hap­py to be done with this cir­cus of a tri­al, and the igno­rant meth­ods that law enforce­ment attempt­ed to prove a case that they could nev­er prove beyond a rea­son­able doubt.

Yet, now a judge, (and can I say this guy is not real­ly judi­cial at all) (alleged­ly)

Wants her to come back to the state of Flori­da and serve a one year pro­ba­tion where the state of Flori­da will like­ly have to pay well over 150,000.00 for secu­ri­ty to make sure that this pro­ba­tion­er is not mur­dered in the state of Flori­da while serv­ing a pet­ty pro­ba­tion sen­tence, real­ly, that is just laugh­able, what kind of judges do they have in Flori­da any­way.

Home of the swing­ing chad among oth­er things, con­sid­er­ing the tourism aspect of this sit­u­a­tion you might thing the state would be well rid of such a case and its ugly reminder of how stu­pid the state was in its over zeal­ous pros­e­cu­tion, (again alleged­ly)

I just find this tru­ly a fan­ta­sists dream come true, I hope they can keep her safe, because if they do not keep her safe, then before they can have a funer­al, the Antonies, will file a mul­ti mil­lion dol­lar suit against the state of flori­da the judge, and any­one else that might be blamed for their daugh­ters death nev­er mind that she might be a slut, or what ever, (allegedl­ly,) got to be fair right, ) 

Because if some wacko, gets to her, and just man­ages, to assault her, the State of Flori­da will be respon­si­ble for mil­lions in dam­ages, why?

Sim­ple, it was pre­ventable, they did not have to do this, they could have just come in and let it go, (dumb judge or not) because lets face it before this that judge nev­er saw so many cam­eras point­ed at him and like­ly he liked it, (alleged­ly)

What if the girl decides to do a real­ly men­tal thing and attempt to take her own life, (bad, I know,) no one deserves that, ok, but she is not right in the head, (alleged­ly) and every­one knows it, so how long before this girl self destruc­ts, and will it be the state of Flori­da and the Tax pay­ers of Flori­da that end up pay­ing for that stu­pid­i­ty?

You know what, you went for the Gold, you should have been going for the sil­ver, you lost, the end, there is no start­ing over again and if you keep on with this stu­pid­i­ty, (not alleged­ly, this time it is stu­pid) if you keep on with this insane vin­dic­tive garbage, you will end up pay­ing a much high­er price than you ever thought you would, cost of secu­ri­ty, cost of puni­tive dam­ages, should some­one assault her, med­ical expens­es, (life time doc­tors vis­its)

The list goes on and on and on, this just seems pet­ty and real­ly just dumb…

Get over it, if you had charged the case cor­rect­ly you would not have to even be in this posi­tion of try­ing to get legal­ly even, because you know what it was not this girls fault that the State, was unable to prove its case, it was the states fault.

Legal­ly the girl might even be able to recov­er rea­son­able attor­neys fees, from the State…

You know some­times its best to cut your loss­es before it gets any worse if you learn noth­ing else from this case, know this, the bur­den of proof is on the State, and for some rea­son the state for­got that…
