Over the past few days we have heard quite a lot about the riots in Baltimore MD.
The one thing you have not heard is how much responsibility does the Media have in reporting and perhaps inflaming riots to take place.
It is a fine line.
On one hand you have a public that should know when they might be in danger of physical harm, this is something to consider but at what point does reporting the news become possibly harmful to the public.
That is the question, words have meaning, when you use words that create problems with blame and assigning labels and speaking in generalities when it would be better to speak specifically.
You can hear the bias in the words the media speak.
You hear words like hopeful, which suggests a negative.
You hear that when the Media talks about republican candidates for the presidency.
You don’t hear that about democrat candidates.
You hear things that suggest that just about all republican candidates have a problem that must be overcome, they say things like experience when the democratic candidates have none or less than the republican candidates.
It makes you wonder are we all just too stupid to notice that the media is playing God?
Perhaps that is the case but what if the media are the ones that are insane and what they believe is wrong…
Also makes you think right?
The Media want you to buy products and services that advertise on their networks yet, they constantly insult your intelligence just before and after a commercial plays.
Makes you wonder, how smart those advertisers really are…
Are advertisers really that stupid?
They spend millions for a few seconds of prime time advertising yet the media insult the very customers that they hope to reach…
How dumb do you have to be to not realize how ignorant it is to spend that much money and not pay attention to what the media are doing when they insult the intelligence of those buyers that those advertisers want to reach out to.
When you think about that it makes you wonder, quite a lot about these companies that spend so much money and yes some of the people that watch those commercials are actually stock holders and those stock holders are being insulted by the media.
What kind of business model is this?
Im curious because it looks like a the kind of business model that fails.
If your spending big money advertising, why not let those people in the media know that your not stupid.
Your not so ignorant that you can’t see when your intelligence is being insulted.
Or perhaps you are and its the stock holders that need to start making some noise, why throw away your advertising budget on an audience that are too dumb to know when they are being manipulated?
Makes you wonder about these CEOs that get paid millions but spend advertising dollars frivolously.
Who knows if someone stands up and tells the media that they don’t have any clothes on someone might start treating viewers with respect instead of such disdain.
