You know the fol­low­ing news item is just the most ridicu­lous thing we have ever heard and its real­ly sort of insult­ing as well.

But could this be a new sort of nor­mal sit­u­a­tion here in the US…

You may find it some­what strange and even odd to think that some day by the writ­ten sig­na­ture of one man a nation­al hol­i­day that is at the heart and soul of a nation might be snuffed out?

That is just stu­pid right?

Erase Thanks­giv­ing Day and rename it Immi­gra­tion day by order of the pres­i­dent and dic­ta­tor?

Susan Payne, a Mary­land polit­i­cal activist who was inter­viewed on the Mark Levin Show last week, called into The Joe Miller Show yes­ter­day and pro­vid­ed even more details on what a White House task force is plan­ning with respect to ille­gals in this coun­try.

She explained that not only did mem­bers of the task force make it clear that their efforts are designed to pro­vide as much mon­ey and ben­e­fits to ille­gals as pos­si­ble, they were also try­ing to expand ways to induce ille­gals to come to the Unit­ed States. With respect to those who receive exec­u­tive amnesty, Ms. Payne said the focus was “nav­i­gate [the ben­e­fits], not assim­i­late.”

But the most shock­ing rev­e­la­tion was that mem­bers of the task force want to see Thanks­giv­ing be changed by Obama’s exec­u­tive order to “Cel­e­brate Immi­grants Day.” Ms. Payne said she was “stunned” by the “audac­i­ty” and “insid­i­ous nature” of the Obama’s admin­is­tra­tion.

So are we to begin to believe that some­how by a writ­ten order one man may ban an entire hol­i­day that defined this entire nation?

What then does that make us?

What does it say that we are become if we no longer rec­og­nize the very rea­son why we became the nation that we have become.

Should we take down the flag now?
