When you see a news story like this one you might think that someone has been watching too many movies.
A group of like-minded patriots, bound together by pride in American exceptionalism, plan on building an armed community to protect their liberty.
The group, named Citadel, intends to purchase 2,000 to 3,000 acres for the project in western Idaho. The community will comprise of 3,500 to 7,000 families of patriotic Americans who “voluntarily choose to live together in accordance with Thomas Jefferson’s ideal of Rightful Liberty.”
When you look at what is going on in America you might find that you are concerned however the idea of actually preparing for some event in which protection of a community may be necessary can be something that you just find is a scary thought, however if it ever came down to it such a project might become a life saving avenue that many communities may not have the luxury of developing.
According to the Citadel website, Rightful Liberty means that “neighbors keep their noses out of other neighbors’ business, that neighbors live and let live.”
Citadel explains that residents in the community will be bound by the following: •Patriotism •Pride in American Exceptionalism •Our proud history of Liberty as defined by our Founding Fathers, and •Physical preparedness to survive and prevail in the face of natural catastrophes –such as Hurricanes Sandy or Katrina — or man-made catastrophes such as a power grid failure or economic collapse.
For many years we have been hearing about the decline of our society, if you are interested in history that is a pattern that is worthy of your interest. We hear words like tolerance and phrases like “cant we all just get along” the reality is that for the most part No we cant all just get along.
There is one thing that we all have in common, it is a small thing really but we are all human, we may not speak the same language, we may not like the same foods, but we all laugh the same and we cry the same.
We experience life in the same ways, though for some of us in vastly different circumstances.
We try to do the best we can but sometimes we fall short.
Now that we have had a few months to consider what has been going on I can tell you one thing for sure, it sure was not what everyone thought it would be…
Everything is about new things this year is no different, we have a new year approaching and we have a city that is literally out of control, spending money like there is no tomorrow and since we now know that the world did not end a few days ago I think its time to consider the fact that we will have to begin to repay all this money that is being spent.
I have an idea that if people knew where all the money was going and if Washington were to spend some time to communicate that people would be a lot more willing to make changes that would bring in more revenue.
America has always been about banding together when times get tough we help our neighbors out.
If we do not avoid it, will it be even worse now that it was back in 1929?
A great friend who lived through the first great depression told me that this time it would be a lot worse.
She said that back in the days of the first great depression, people knew their neighbors and they were friends.
People, shared meals together, they shared, time together, they banded together in times of trouble and helped one another.
Not so now, for the most part do you even know your neighbors?
If you know them do you trust them with your lives?
Perhaps and perhaps not, that is the dilemma we find ourselves in now.
We may be about to enter into the worst disaster we have ever seen and for the most part we will not even be able to trust those that live close to us because we are so busy doing everything else that we have not taken time to get to know them.
This is what is so disturbing right now when we should be coming together to make things better for everyone, we are promoting class warfare, blaming others for mistakes that adults make. Doing things that make no sense, like investing in solar panels, that do not exist, (allegedly) we are in for a rude awakening soon if we do not make some changes.
For some reason people seem to think that things have to be the way they are because that is the way they have always been.
But that kind of thinking is what has got us here to begin with and to be fair it is not just the last three years, but the last 50 years.
We have to change the tax system, and turn it from a monster of millions of pages, down to three pages.
Simplify our tax system, fire the idiots that cannot figure out simple math.
Empower the job creators to do what they do best, creating jobs, we can do this by removing the stupid rules that are preventing them from doing what they have done for years, creating jobs. We can avoid this second great depression by investing in our own natural resources, not shady corporate welfare.
We can make a difference, but not without real change and not the failed leadership that we have seen for the last three years.
Someone up in the White House, exists a man that campaigned on hope and change that man said that he could do great things, but so far he has not done those things, he has done other things.
WE need a real leader in the White House, someone that is not afraid to stand up for what is right in this nation, ruining America is not what we need, vote them out of office, if they cannot or will not change the way they are, vote them out.
If they cannot or will not change what they have done in the past that has already proven to be a failure, then vote them out.
Simple as that, we cannot afford to watch as people try the same old tired things that have failed world wide, in every place they have ever been tried.
WE simply must avoid this kind of defeatist thinking…
Remember the movie End of Days, a while back staring everyone favorite Governor or Governator, Well in a big news story that apparently an old and sadly senile 89 year old man, was touted by the media to be some sort of spokesman for all mankind, which proves only one thing.
The media is stupid.
And if you believe the nonsense that they are talking about online, then your in the same boat.
I find it more interesting that Arnold is not out of the spot light, and this elderly man who is far too old to be doing this kind of thing, I find it mildly offensive to listen to all the trash talking online in regard to haters, talking about hating Christians, the thing is here this one old man does not speak for anyone other than himself.
Even his neighbors, said the same thing and they have lived next door to him for 40 years.
So, if those that know this old man the best, say “bless his 89 year old heart” and mind probably, (allegedly) then why all the insane gossip on the networks,? Want to know why?
Because they know they can get away with trashing Christians.
Why does the media talk trash about Christians and more importantly if every religion were to be examined in this way you are going to find some crack pots out there, but if this were about any other religion, would the media be talking about it?
Think about that for a moment…
Try doing this with other religions, and trash their beliefs and there would be demonstrations and threats every where and rightfully so, in fact when you see all this trash talking why is that?
Watch the video below for more information on what we are facing and how it is not going to be so easy this time around, you see we interviewed a 98 year old woman who remembers the Depression for what it was not what the liberals in the Senate want you to believe but how it really was back then.
You know what she said that really made us pause?
She said that it would be worse this time because back then people knew their neighbors and people got together and they shared food when they had it, they made sure that kids did not starve.
This time she pointed out that many people do not even know their neighbors…
Think about that, do you know who lives in your apartment complex and have you ever shared a meal together?
My friends it is going to get a lot worse for many people in this nation are not prepared and many more will not even try to prepare simply because they believe the lies that they are told to believe.
Wonder what happened, is this no longer news, or how far are the special union interests, prepared to go, will they do even worse things, is this like dealing with Gangsters?
Vote fraud is allegedly being investigated have the dead have once again risen to come and vote in Wisconsin?
The truth may be worse than you think, seems really easy to figure out, if there are more votes that actual people living in a district something is wrong.
More than 10,000 ballots in Dane County, Wisconsin, where the state capital Madison is, voters selected only a pick in the Supreme Court race, while leaving even the hotly contested mayoral and county executive choices blank.
Wisconsin and Illinois are neighbors and how they vote in Chicago doesn’t necessarily stop at the state line.”
So will we blame everyone for the troubled actions that resulted in a terrible tragedy in Arizona. According to Pima county Sheriff, Dupnik alleges without any proof at all, (strange thing if your in law enforcement) that all manner of people are to blame for the actions of a mentally ill young man whom the Sheriff allegedly had contact with and could have taken some action to stop what happened. What is really puzzling is why dupnik choose to blame everyone but himself.
Guilt allegedly is a powerful thing, perhaps that was part of what drove this man to do what he allegedly has done by going on TV and making accusations against people who did not even live in the same state as the accused. Why not blame the parents, they must have known there was something wrong, why not blame the neighbors, they knew there was something wrong, why not blame the students that went to high school with this young man, or how about the college students and what about his teachers, are they not to blame as well?
It seems so strange that everyone is to blame when the unthinkable happens, when we have people on both sides saying things that are less than appropriate.
If it were true, that what people say is to blame for all the worlds problems then we would surely all be doomed, because every day someone says something that may hurt someone’s feelings, or worse, offend them, but that does not mean that they are to blame for a car accident that claims the life of a young child.
It does not help to blame people, to point the finger of blame is not the solution to the human condition.
We are human and that will never change, nothing can be done, there is no cure, you cannot make a law to cure the human condition.
This is why all the laws in the world will not change what it means to be human, what it means to be responsible for the things we choose to do, from running a red light, to speeding, every day we all make choices that effect the outcome of our lives.
It may be easy to blame someone else for the failure of others, but that will not change the sad events that took place nor will it stop another such event from every occurring again, all we can do is to learn from this failure and try to do a better job in the future, sadly that means that as a race, as a human we may see another tragedy happen again in the future, as bad as that is, as bad it would be, there is nothing that can deter a bad choice, because that person that makes the bad choice is responsible for those decisions.
History tells us that no amount of law, nor even good will can change bad intentions, there are things that can be done, however eventually because we are human, this will happen again, until we find a way to care for everyone in our society and that is just not something that is likely to happen anytime soon laws or no laws, new rules or no rules, the outcome of these sad events are an indication that we need to care more for our human condition, when we see someone with a mental issue, we need to do something even if it is just telling someone in authority that a problem may exist.
In this case, the college, where it was alleged, that he may have had some mental issue that might effect his safety and the safety of others, if that was indeed the case, and it appears likely, action should have been taken, it was not, we now know that a letter to the parents was not enough action, but how much is enough and how much is too much? Just passing numerous laws and then just forgetting it ever happened, will not change the chances of something like this happening in the future, nor will attempting to ban guns stop criminals from doing criminal things.
The Columbine High School massacre occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School.
This was before 911, and before schools installed metal detectors yet it did not stop it from happening, again.
We have seen far too much of this kind of thing, yet, of all the things that have been done and all the things that we can do to remain aware of the suffering of those that have mental issues, we must try harder, passing law after law will not help, but being aware of suffering and doing all we can to help that individual can help reduce the likely hood that this would happen again, that is the only true way to really help.
It is when we do not take action, when we see a problem and do nothing, or when we wait until after a tragedy has occurred to try and take action that is when we do more harm than good, caring for our neighbors is the only true way we can help them.
Pointing the finger of blame with the idea of using it to gain political ground is perhaps even worse that the tragic events that occurred this past Saturday, simply because it contributes to the problem, it does not solve the problem, so when I see news reporters, making reckless statements, and commentators blaming everyone but the person who actually did the alleged crime, that enables the next person to do the same thing later, and that is why the name calling and the blame game should stop, how can we expect society to be civilized when the media will not act like they are civilized.
Shame on the media for the way they have behaved, shame on the advertisers for advertising on those networks that have used this to a political advantage.
Caring for those that are sick and hurt, and doing the right thing, which means telling someone in authority and then holding that person accountable for a failure to take action that is one way this could have been prevented, but blaming other people for political gain, is a shame on the profession of journalism.
Just a reminder, this is the worst place in the entire united states to live, one where you dont want to be…
If this is the way that people in Tennessee, are, I sure dont want to live there, but to be fair, I really do not think that people in this state are like this, while this type of behavior, is sort of well disgusting, and evil, most people are decent one thing for sure those so called fire men should resign, they do not belong.
One thing for sure if you decide to move to Tennessee find out if they have backward evil Hicks that will watch your home burn down.
What a shame when a chance was had to make a difference in the lives of this family the community did nothing, a friend of mine, told me that if there is a second depression, it will be far worse than the first one.
She should know, she is 98 years, old and remembers it well, “back then if someone did not have food to eat the community would get together and get some food together for them to eat, they met the need, no one in our community ever starved, sure none of us ever got what we felt like was enough, but we did not starve.
These days, it appears that most people do not even know their neighbors, they do not know and or understand that we need to help each other out, that is what started this great country out.
Love, they neighbor, but sadly that seems to be wholly lacking in our modern day society.
This is one of the worst examples of neighborly love I have ever seen, these people should be made to watch as their own homes burn to the ground, then they would not be so judgmental, they would not be so quick to say things like they got what they deserved.
Oh it is so easy to say that, when your not the person that is suffering, but you know what, that does not excuse you nor will it on that day, when you too find yourself judged.
Update, Reports indicate that a family member assaulted the fire chief, if you can call such a man that title, and still hold a straight face, the man was put in the hospital, allegedly he deserved what he got.
Could this be the beginning of a Family Feud, such as has happened in the past?
This was preventable?
But no one cared enough about this family to do anything to help.
These people are sick and disgusting for not putting out that fire, there is no excuse, the only “right” way to do this is to put the fire out and then bill the owner for the “full cost” of putting the fire out. Seriously, because if you dont, then you are not a human, you are street trash that should be kicked around until you find yourself in the gutter wondering how you ended up there.
Who will pay for this injustice?
is it Time to sue the Mayor, and perhaps even the city council?
Why was this allowed to happen, some say they “got what they deserved” but you know what that is not what America is all about, people like this should be made to pay, pay for what they have done.
Allegedly, this is what could happen, when a man or in this case perhaps less than a man, makes the decision to let a home burn rather than put the fire out, (which was in the public’s interest)
That man or lack thereof, should be made to pay.
OBION COUNTY, Tenn,
Dont this make you want to move to Tennessee?
Where your neighbors show up, with hot dog buns and Marsh mellows, instead of a fire hose? You got to live those nice folks in Tennessee, they sure know how to throw a friendly neighbor party.
This is not Funny, it is Sad. and it is preventable, Lawsuits need to be filed, on behalf of the public who could be at risk, but some people say that in Tennessee, allegedly the state is just so backward that no one really cares, that in Tennessee, this is just the way it is, but you know what, that is just a lie, that is a huge false hood.
I have personally found people in Tennessee to be good people and this is just not cool at all.
In a news report on Fox news, it was reported that a so called, “fire department” stood by and watched a fire burn a home down, because the family did not pay the annual 75 dollar fee.
There will be lawsuits folks, because you just cant be stupid and lets face it those people who did this were stupid and need to be removed from any public office.
Reports may indicate that allegedly the Mayor of this little hick town in Tennessee, said that if people do not pay then they are just out of luck.
Well, lets see about this, what happens if say there is someone in the house and this so called “fire dept” fails to show up, it could be successfully argued that they willfully and with premeditated intent failed to do that which was their duty.
That my friends is Manslaughter, and or Murder in the second degree.
Think, about how stupid this is, I can guarantee that an insurer would pay that fee, if there were facing a loss.
How hard would it be to contact an insurer, and make one phone call and say you know what, you are insuring a home that has not paid its fee for this year.
So what happens, it gets paid, but that is not what happened, here.
What happened here is a criminal matter and the prosecuting attorney, should file charges against anyone involved in this decision not to keep the public safe from an out of control fire.
Send a message that this kind of behavior is not tolerated, the insurer should file a civil lawsuit against anyone involved in this evil deed.
It is amazing to see how many people have said they got what they deserved.
You know what, you can say that now, but if your home caught fire, and say for some reason, (another fire) your home was lost, you would not be talking so big.
The issue here is not if they got what they deserved, but was the public interest served?
Danger is just ahead are you prepared in case of the worst depression in history?
With the recent problems in the real estate industry, will this be what it takes to put us into a spiraling economy.
Are we likely to see a second depression
Could it in fact happen as early as this November?
Are we doomed?
Will the next pen stroke be the one that dooms our economy?
Many people feel that it could happen, While still others are lying to your faces and saying all is well, ringing the bells.
They did that during the plague as well, They went right along ringing the bells and you could hear them tolling they would say all is well.
But one day that changed from all is well to bring out your dead, no one knows for sure when that happened, but for sure, it was not a good thing, the politicians will not tell you the truth, but we will survive, we will over come, because we are Americans, that is something that the liberals in congress cannot understand.
One thing for sure is this.
No one knows for sure but there are now some big names behind some reports that we are headed for a near equally disastrous forray into what would be the worst depression ever.
We interviewed several of our elderly folks that had actually lived through this period of history, which was a lot worse that anything you ever saw in your high school history books.
The thing about it is that during this time period people were different, This is a quote, from a dear elderly lady 98 years young, who does not wish to be identified, but I think that her analysis is dead on, pardon the choice of words.
She states, that people during this time period were different, they cared for each other we all knew who lived near to us and we shared what we had, we attended church and when we learned that someone had a need everyone as a community would get together and share until that family had what they needed to feed their families.
These days it is not the same, people hardly know those that live next door to them, much less in the same town any more.
This is going to be a big and very sad thing if we do indeed enter into yet another depression, because I believe that because we are so isolated these days that we will not know of our neighbors needs, the churches will be over whelmed, almost immediately because they are not prepared for this type of help.
People do not know their neighbors and so how can they trust them?
Think about this and you will see that if we do not act and once again return to what we knew as a nation in the early 1940s then we are in for a very bad time of it.
I was floored after considering this I know one of my five neighbors other than that I would not know who lived here and who did not live here, and I can see just how damaging it might become when people do not trust each other, how can they help each other?
The answer to that is they will not.
Just the other day, while eating at a popular fast food establishment, I saw something that made my heart ache, a man was walking with a back pack and a cane, as he approached the door, he stopped, and began to rummage in his bag for a few moments, I was not really paying attention until a friend asked me what the man was doing as I began to observe him I became clear that he was going through the ash can for cigarette butts, to smoke later in the day.
Now, dont get me wrong I feel for the guy, and would have gladly paid so he could have something to eat, but he would not have accepted, and in fact he left soon after wards, after he took what he could salvage I suspect he later checked the garbage for food.
This is one of the most shocking things I can ever remember seeing, things are getting rough out there folks, and if you are not prepared you should be.
Pray that, as a nation we return to our roots because if we fail to do this we are all in a lot of trouble.
This is what the democrats have brought us, this is what they will continue to bring us pain and trouble, like you can not imagine.
In November we must vote them out of office they have by lack of action and by refusing to listen to the people, they have put us all in danger.
