There are reports that allegedly over 400 companies that have been given waivers, which basically, allows a company to opt of health care reform laws.
This is difficult to understand, mostly because if everyone is to be under one health care system, then how can you allow certain people to just opt out?
Is this not a case of equal protection under the law?
If one company can opt out should not all companies that want to opt out be able to do so, in this way would they not be equal?
In this alleged situation we have special interests, (allegedly) that are allowed to opt out while others, (notably) non union, that are not allowed to opt out, that is not equal.
It just seems so strange that we have so many special interests, (allegedly)
