Pros­e­cut­ing attor­ney Jess Ash­ton retires or alleged­ly is fired, who knows one thing for sure this busi­ness of over charg­ing cas­es is not the way that the jus­tice sys­tem should be run, the idea that you over charge a case in order to get what you want regard­less of the facts or the evi­dence was a mes­sage that was trans­mit­ted loud and clear by the jury.

This has been a demon­stra­tion of a huge dog and pony show, that many feel was unwar­rant­ed and was not right that the state of Flori­da went after this girl in the press and they alleged­ly cut cor­ners.
