The truth about polls…

Finding out what people feel and think is a difficult thing and for the most part its a hit and miss proposition, take for example the idea that the use of language in the design of the question can create a misleading result.

Do you think that the United States is doing the right thing for the American People?

Yes

No.

The obvious answer is no, so you go out and you find a few hundred people who answer their phones and you ask them the question.

Your going to get what you asked for in that instance.

So, when you see the media playing games with polls what does it really mean?

Nothing at all.
