Fast and Furious backfired?

What should we learn from mistakes we make?

Should Eric Holder be held responsible for the deaths of citizens and border patrol agents that may have been killed because of this issue.

More calls for Eric Holder to resign amid allegations that he may have willfully lied to congress. Considering the mountain of evidence of the issues of competence, the unpopular stances where the justice department is pitted against the states rights in the constitution.

should the Justice department be suing states in court to allegedly take away their right to protect its people?

Does the Constitution not have a Tenth Amendment.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

That seems straight forward and simple to understand.

Yet we have a man in charge of the Justice Department, that does not understand something as simple as the Tenth Amendment, what is wrong with that picture.

Yes, some argue that immigration is a federal task, but is it solely such a task, when you have borders of each state, then does not a state have to protest its people?

Are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people….

When you look at this you have to say that a man has a right to protect his property his children, his land, his car, from being spoiled by an enemy, the same is true of the state, each official must protect its people.

So now we have Fast and Furious, which was allegedly designed to provide provender to the enemy, but perhaps caused a lot of other problems.

Did Fast and Furious do the very thing that the liberal media news was promoting in a story about how Mexico was complaining about how Guns were coming from the US, and ending up being used in violent crimes in Mexico, (remember that)

The liberal media was gearing up for a crucifixion of the Second Amendment to the constitution.

So where are they now, on this news story?

Why are they not crying about how American Gun shops are selling guns to be used in crimes south of the border?

Could it be that they no longer are interested in a true story that explains why there were so many complaints from Mexico.

Could it be that when the news story starts to hit home, (chickens or otherwise) that the liberal media is no longer interested in doing a news story about this fast and furious scandal.

In so many ways, this is a terrible thing to have done, and while some say that it has been done in the past, but in the past the level of violence was not the same south of the border so the idea that you send arms into a country that is already having so many problems with violence is just well crazy and insane.

So the goal of this fast and furious, was what really, to track where guns went and how many people they killed?

Seems sort of a strange situation to be in when you want to try and take away other peoples rights to
keep and bear arms.

It seems that the constitution is not the problem here but men who would stand up and lie to the American people.

It seems like the old saying still holds true, that people make the decision to do harm to others, not the things with which they choose to do that harm, so you see attempting to ban guns or take away the second amendment, would not change much of anything, because since the beginning of time men have known how to be violent, if you take away every gun in the world, they would pick up sticks and stones as in the past and they would wage wars upon one another with a vigorous attention to detail.

No, this kind of thing is just a sad reminder that we are human and we make mistakes.

The constitution is still the best guide we have for standing up for America…

Union take over

Update unions take a loss in its alleged contention that unions have rights protected under the constitution.

The fact is that the Constitution does not in fact cover unions and they have no rights when it comes to states rights, the constitution is clear the state has the right and the duty to protect the people of the state from unions that would seek to allegedly bankrupt the state in its use of powers that it does not have.

What the media has not told you about this alleged issue is that not all unions are alike and not all unions are against the people, many in fact have a long standing interest in seeing the American people stand proud and tall when in the past companies sought to pay workers little or nothing, Unions were there to stand in the gap, so not all unions are like these unions are, nor should they be.

Are the Unions trying to take over in Wisconsin?

Should they be allowed to run a state or for that matter Washington?

Many people believe that Unions are trying to power grab their way into what would allegedly be a Dictator role in Government, Vote them out in 2012, never has it been more important.

FTC politics

Is the FTC making a political statement by trying to regulate the internet and hold internet advertisers to a different standard than broadcast television and cable providers.

We must apply equal protection under the law, it is after all the law or is that just an in-convenient truth that no one wants to talk about it appears that this administration has no real understanding of how our legal system works because they apparently have to be constantly reminded in court.

We have seen states rights challenged, and defeated.

They tried it in Arizona, they failed.

They are trying it in Wisconsin, and they will fail…

It is time to stop this unfair use of government to attempt to control every aspect of the lives of all Americans.

If you apply one set of rules to the internet and a separate, set of rules for broadcast television then you create unequal application of the law, which means that eventually you will end up in court attempting to argue, against the constitution.

Is this an attempt to institute the fairness doctrine all over again?

It failed back when they tried it in the past.

It has failed on every occasion, yet, they still try to push it out of the way, yet failure is the only future for this type of ignorance.

Make a statement about why using the FTC to engage in politics is wrong and it is not constitutional.

Tell the FTC to stay out of politics and focus on doing its job which is something that anyone can see is allegedly not happening.

States rights is not just another theory…

My friends when men would rail and deprive others of freedom they are not good people it is not the hope and it is not the kind of change that people were told they could expect, it is because of this that we must vote those out of office that will not listen or do the will of the people.

Restoring the 10th Amendment
By Dustin Stockton

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Powerful, simple words. The Tenth Amendment was designed to be a catchall, ensuring that as our great nation developed, the choices of the federal government would remain secondary to the rights of the states. Yet federal politicians have found ways to circumvent their limited power. The result has been a disastrous eroding of personal liberty and government efficiency.

They’ve bastardized the intent of the interstate commerce clause. On Obamacare, Obama’s lawyers argue that the commerce clause gives them authority to regulate everything that has to do or not to do with the modern definition of commerce. Their argument goes like this. If people don’t purchase health insurance it impacts interstate commerce; therefore, the federal government has constitutional authority to mandate that every person purchase health insurance.

Imagine the implications if that argument is successful. The federal government would grant itself unilateral authority to dictate every purchase your family chooses or doesn’t choose to make. Don’t want to buy a new car in Nevada? That would impact the car industry in Michigan therefore granting authority for the government to demand that you buy a new car. Even worse, every decision has an impact on health. If given the power to regulate healthcare then the federal government could regulate every decision from what kind of toothpaste you use to what kind of food you eat. All these regulations would be controlled by a handful of politicians in Washington DC.

I support States’ rights because an ordinary citizen has almost no control over Washington. Each of us is represented by just one Congressman and two Senators. That means our individual vote only has an impact on 3/535 or about ½ of 1%. America is greatest when decisions are weighted as close to each individual as possible, because the smaller the government the more agile and reactive it can be to its unique community. Every individual school board should have broader control over its district’s education policy than the State and especially the federal government, because you can have an impact on your local school board that you can’t have with the federal government.

The 10th amendment applies both ways.

I don’t care if the people of Vermont use their education system to feminize their boys and sexualize their girls. I don’t care if they want to raise their effective tax rate to 90%. I could care less if they want to teach their children that avoiding pain is more important than perseverance and hard work. Their communities should be free to create a narcissistic liberal utopia and then suffer the consequences when it inevitably fails. On the same account, if I choose to live in a community where schools segregate based on ability, allow prayer, and teaches morality, the liberals in Vermont and the politicians in Washington should mind their own d–n business.

This is a big country. Communities in rural Alabama face far different challenges than communities in urban New York. The federal government will never have the ability to regulate each of those different communities equally and therefore should stay out of the business of regulating them at all. If it takes a Constitutional amendment to restrict the commerce clause in order to restore the Tenth Amendment that will be the cost of preserving liberty.

Winconsin Again

Well apparently Wisconsin is once again in the news when a democRAT has apparently asked for the Federal Government to step into a States Rights case which would be against the Constitution.

I thought that people in Washington were educated?

Why cant they figure out how the constitution works, I guess are you smarter than a fifth grader was more on target than we ever guessed.
