Biased media

Are people tired of the biased media asking stupid questions at liberal moderated events?

The truth may be that they are sick and tired of it and the advertisers may be tired of it as well.

Gone are the days where people used to be ignorant and unlearned not capable of understanding that a question can be fair or it can be biased, that was the past it is not the way things are now.

In the past, it used to be that there were really only three ways to get your news, either you watched TV, Read the paper, or listened, to the radio.

Now there are literally thousands of ways to get your news, and we are no longer limited by biased media.

We do not have to deal with biased news any more.

People are sick of all the trash that the media is shoveling, that is it simple as that.

We do not have to watch your biased media coverage, we can watch what ever we want and we do not have to purchase products from advertisers that seek to advertise to a biased audience.

Tax increase?

While most may be against this the main reason they are against a tax increase is that the money in the past has been wasted.

Well some may say that hey we cannot do a tax increase, the fact may be that we might need to consider some changes to the Tax, code, it is full of loopholes for the wealthy corporations, so a flat tax would be a good thing, however, the one huge problem is that you have to have control before Americans will be willing to Chip in on bailing out Washington.

There has been a lot of money wasted, and that is one reason why people are against raising taxes.

If Washington could design an iron clad, (if you waste money in congress then you go to jail) because that is the problem, the problem is not the people, the problem is in Washington.  The only way that we can overcome this crisis, and this time it is a real crisis, is to develop a plan that shows where every dime goes and it will guarantee that not one dime will be wasted on ART work that no one likes.

We must have an Assurance that not one dime will be wasted to support Biased, Radio, or TV stations.

That is the only way that Americans will Chip in to stop the problems we have.

Americans are generous, they are resilient, they are the best of the best in charity and caring for those who are less fortunate.

Americans have given more to help other nations when they needed help than any other nation in the world, yet, we see that no one else does as much as America does.  We must do the right thing, but we also must find a way to make sure that revenue is not wasted.

I think that the President is right that we really do need to chip in, here, but I also think that we have to be responsible with the money that is raised, and we need to put that money into an account where every single dime is monitored, watched, and tagged, so that nothing is wasted.

It has to be this way or else it will be wasted and most people will not want to help.

We can make a difference and we can over come these problems, but we must be responsible, we must be reasonable, we must not waste the money because when you look at all the waste that there is already and there is a huge amount of waste, it is something that we have to fix, and cutting defense is not an option, that needs to be dismantled.

Revenue really is the way forward, but it must be combined with a plan of action and a plan to not waste anything of what is developed, the funny thing is that you could take all the campaign funds of all the candidates and make a huge dent in the debt.

But we are still selling out to special interests, we are still selling out to insurance companies, we are still selling out to the wants of the few, on the backs of the many.

This must end, we cannot value large corporation that pay no taxes, yet receive all the benefits as if they did pay tax.

A plan is what we need.

FTC in the wrong?

Is the FTC biting off more than it can chew in trying to regulate the internet,

Broadcast, TV, Cable TV, Subscriber lines, Radio, what will be next, free speech?

will you one day wake up to find that you can no longer express an opinion?

When good men do not stand up to the oppressive idea of ignorant fools how will we ever be free?

The same consumer protection laws that apply to commercial activities in other media apply online. The FTC Acts prohibition on unfair or deceptive acts or practices encompasses Internet advertising, marketing and sales. In addition, many Commission rules and guides are not limited to any particular medium used to disseminate claims or advertising, and therefore, apply to online activi- ties.

Is the above statement accurate?

Seriously is the above statement really accurate, do the same consumer protection laws equally apply to commercial activities in other media online.

The day that broadcast commercials apply the same disclosure statements, that the FTC proposes for internet advertisements will be the day that they have got it right…

The problem is that there are two sets of rules, one for broadcast television commercials and a second one that they allegedly wish to oppress the internet with.

Will this end up being a method to create the “fairness doctrine for the internet”

Do yourself a favor, read and comment on the disclosure proposals for online advertising.

will we find the truth or will we end up loosing our freedom to speak out loud.

from dot com disclosures.

Disclosures that are required to prevent an ad from being misleading

The problem here is this, until the same protection is applied to broadcast television then this is not constitutional.

So, when will be see equal protection for broadcast Television?

To make a disclosure clear and conspicuous, advertisers should:

  • Place disclosures near, and when possible, on the same screen as the trigger-ing claim.
  • Use text or visual cues to encourage consumers to scroll down a Web page when it is necessary to view a disclosure.

When using hyperlinks to lead to disclosures,

?    make the link obvious;

?    label the hyperlink appropriately to convey the importance, nature and
relevance of the information it leads to;

?    use hyperlink styles consistently so that consumers know when a link is

NPR defund?

Should NPR be De-funded of Tax Dollars, many are saying that yes, this should be done and soon because NPR appears to mostly and allegedly only represent one point of view and that is the alleged, liberal left point of view, this is scary and it could be evil, one thing we know for sure, apparently at NPR there is no first Amendment.

Is this the truth, does NPR believe that Americans should have no opinion other than the one NPR has?

What is going on when we have a communications company that is supported by the public and supported by tax dollars, what is happening when that same communications company has no regard for the first amendment.

The call is going out to stop funding what is allegedly mostly a left progressive political machine.

The idea is that they are no longer representative of what America stands for and that is freedom.

NPR allegedly is far left and its decision to fire Juan Williams is proof that allegedly they are biased.

This is a sad day for Radio, when a communications company which is by the way bound by law, and the FCC to act in a responsible manner, yet they have allegedly not done this.

Many organizations are calling for any and all public funding of this allegedly evil organization to stop right now.

It is time for America to be for Americans.

Sarah Palin calls for NPR to be de-funded.
