Protesting the National Anthem

Spread the love

Disrespect is what we are talking about here.

Ignorance as well but that is a fore gone conclusion.

Disrespecting the National Anthem and the Flag of the United States of America.

Why would anyone in their right mind attach the National Anthem to some kind of protest?

I have heard the arguments for doing this but none of that makes any sense because the premise for participating in the disrespect is false.   The very idea that someone one in the NFL making Millions of dollars a year, protesting what amounts to a false narrative is just ridiculous.   (if it were still 1950 you might have a better place to stand) but in a day and age when we have not only players in the NFL that feel that they need to protest the national anthem of the nation that they live in and where they make millions of dollars a year and often own multiple homes and cars is insanity.

Here is what they are protesting…

On this day in 1814, Francis Scott Key pens a poem which is later set to music and in 1931 becomes America’s national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The poem, originally titled “The Defence of Fort McHenry,” was written after Key witnessed the Maryland fort being bombarded by the British during the War of 1812.

Now tell me what the War of 1812 has to do with this fake protesting that is going on today?

Really lets take a hard cold look at what they are trying to do here.

They are attacking our history.

They are attacking the reason why they are free to do what they want to do, not only the NFL players, lest someone come along and claim that racism is the base of this idea but also so many other americans of all colors and nationalities and originations, people of all walks of life are free to engage in becoming successful.

Certainly that are many more that do not have the chances that many of these NFL professional athletes have had yet they somehow feel entitled to protest an entire nation and all of our military and everything that the flag stands for just to try to make some kind weak false flag narrative?

Again Insanity.

Perhaps this is partly because our education system has failed so many Americans that we have generation after generation that have become ignorant of our history.

It really is time that Americans understand that there is a reason why the last few words of the National Anthem is “Let Freedom Ring”
