Since the Spring, Wash­ing­ton has been abuzz with debt lim­it dead­lines and rumored deals. But instead of actu­al­ly solv­ing our spend­ing-induced debt cri­sis, Wash­ing­ton is deliv­er­ing more of the same: secre­tive deals, gim­micks, and tax increas­es.
