Bull Market

Is this a Bull market or is this simply a correction?

Some seem to think that this is just a short term correction and everything will get back to business as usual, but what will that be now that the first time since 1913 America no longer has a AAA credit rating. What we hear from Washington is that the S and P is just wrong, but are they really, ask yourself this question which one of you would have a perfect credit rating if you owed 97 percent of everything you make?

So what can we expect tomorrow?

Likely more of the same probably some serious selling orders will get executed in the AM, some shifting to the commodities markets, will occur, mostly in Grain, but some others will see an increase, Over time there should be a short rally, followed by another sell off, some are predicting a new low in the AM, 10900 but I suspect we may not see that right away. The end could be a good 800 point drop, which would be a very serious situation.

What do we do next?

The end point over the next four weeks, probably around 8900 There will be ups and downs and shifts, between markets, however, the currency markets will see the biggest drops, over the next six weeks watch out for that issue. One thing that is significant here is that this could have all been prevented. Back in the day we used to analyze wrecks, we would look at the circumstances and we would make a judgement call on if the accident was preventable or if it was no fault, most of the time it was preventable.

This wreck was preventable and it is inexcusable that it was allowed to happen.

What makes it even worse is that this is not the hope and the change that 89 percent of the American people want… So when will we learn? When will the congress learn that when someone says hey your credit will be downgraded if we don’t do the right thing.

But they did not listen.

When will they learn?

Post office a thing of the past?

WE need to save money, so that we can balance the budget, but liberals and democrats allegedly are saying that they want to allegedly ruin the nation by raising the debt ceiling, the thing is that this is not the right way to do this.

From the earliest days of modern man, the United States Postal Office has been a large part of American Society, however, over the years, with the advent of electronic emails, and other more competitive, delivery methods, such as UPS or Fedex, the decline in the volume of mail has been astounding.

The Postal Service lost $8.5 billion last year. It is going to lose, at least, $8.3 billion this year. And it is projected to lose $8.5 billion the year after that," Issa said. "Congress can't keep kicking the can down the road on out of control labor costs and excess infrastructure of USPS and needs to implement reforms that aren't a multi-billion dollar taxpayer funded bailout."

While I understand that there are many that have spent a lifetime, collecting checks from the USPS can I say that it is time to reduce the number of postal offices, because for the most part they are no longer needed.

They are a wasteful and often cumbersome elephant, that needs to be updated so that money can be saved.

When a Federally sponsored agency begins to waste so much money that it becomes a problem for the American people then you must find a way to fix the problem, we can no longer afford to just keep on keeping on with all this waste. H.R. 2309:

To restore the financial solvency of the United States Postal Service We need to find creative methods of reducing the burden of cost that is just getting out of control, there are hundreds of these little post offices, that exist, in small towns, that do not really need a post office. For Example, we have three post offices in an area where we really only need one, Millions could be saved by shutting down that old buildings, that are not energy efficient, millions more could be saved by changing the way the post office is run. In such a difficult economy, how could anyone not see the need to do this right the first time. support, this bill To restore the financial solvency of the United States Postal Service

911 Memorial Ten years later

Today we sadly remember a time before terrorism as I sit here is a cheap hotel room in the very same city I was in on that day ten years ago, I look around and see places that used to do business in this city and now are out of business, the grass on many of the cities public areas are not cut and are obviously not well maintained.

Trash is present on many of this cities streets and you can see that there are serious problems.

Prior to this event you could go on ebay and buy lots of stuff at a good price often half the cost of retail.

Now you can barely find a bargain at all and the cost to ship an item is ten times what it used to be.

Things have changed and they have not changed for the better, call your self a republican or a democrat either way nothing has changed this country has changed.

You can blame Bush or Obama it does not matter the truth is that they both failed us and let us not forget that Clinton was in charge prior to the cause of 911.

So it really does not matter who you blame, because we should be grown ups about this at least that is the way I was raised.

Here we are ten years later and I want you to ask yourself a question, are you better off now than you were in the year 2000?

They intended to strike America down on that day, they failed.

However they did cause a great deal of damage, to our way of life and our economy, that they did succeed to do partially because of the failure of our leaders that includes everyone, all the members of congress that have sold out America for money and corruption, (allegedly) are just as guilty as anyone for the mess we find ourselves in today.

I look around in this city of 300, 000 Americans and I see suffering, I see hunger, I see desperation.

What I do not see is relief, I see people who are scared, I see people who are like everyone else, so in that measure they did succeed to bringing us to their level.

Even with everything we have done to try and repair the damage, it has not been enough, we have a nation that thinks it can try the failed policies of yesterday and succeed only because they think they are smarter than those that came before them.

It is a sad consolation to realize that we could change if we only vote out of office any person that has been up there more than 10 years.

Get them out of there they are not helping they are hurting

When you see someone that says they will help the poor in this nation and you see what I see today, single parents staying in the cheapest motel in town to save money, and risking their lives to do so.

That my friends, is a sad thing and it should not be.

Today Fox news is replying footage of the 911 attacks, the same as they did for the last nine years.

I understand that and I am glad that they are reminding us of what we lost on that day ten years ago.

We lost so much of what we are, Americans, but we are not defeated.

Perhaps the devils that planned and created 911 were successful in this one battle but they have not won the war.

The idea that “Cant we all just get along” is just not going to work, apologizing for what we are is also not going to help.

We are what we are, and that has not changed since that day of the American revolution so many years ago when a few men met in a small room in secret.

They met and decided that they did not want to be governed, by the small minded they decided that all men are created equal, they made a document that has stood for hundreds of years, and yes, it is still sound even this very day, it applies because it is the result of the triumph of the human spirit.

We Are America and we are still Free.

You can never take that away, because it was paid at the highest cost, it was paid for in blood.

The blood of our fathers and the blood of our grandfathers, the blood of our neighbors and the blood of our loved ones.

The blood of Americans who have fought and sacrificed, everything since the beginning of our nation and all the wars that we have fought to remain free, yes we may have liberals that want to sell us out to other nations but they cannot sell what they do not own and that is our blood, we are America and we are free and you cannot take that away.
