Google Monopoly?

Google has lost a court case that they nev­er want­ed to see hap­pen…

Google has for many years been engaged in alleged­ly cen­sor­ing search results only show­ing one side of an opin­ion.

They say that they are inno­cent but the truth here is one that you can see and all you have to do to see that truth is to begin using oth­er search engines and then you will see the dif­fer­ence.

Google vio­lates antitrust laws. 

The media includ­ing Fox Busi­ness and oth­ers are defend­ing Google in part by push­ing a nar­ra­tive that is sim­ply just wrong. 

The two big players in this boondoggle is Google and Apple. 

The base accu­sa­tion here is that Google has been pay­ing Apple so that on the iPhone the default search engine is always Google. 

(This is a valid point and one that appar­ent­ly Fox Busi­ness and oth­er media com­pa­nies are ok with) 

The truth here is a sim­ple one, Google has been for years cen­sor­ing con­tent when it does not fit in with the pop­u­lar the­o­ries that the “LEFT” push on a reg­u­lar basis. 

When you search for opin­ions on pop­u­lar news items you are often met with only one side of the opin­ion. 

So when it comes to an unfair com­pe­ti­tion and unfair busi­ness prac­tices this is right on tar­get and Fox News is off base on this defence of google. 

They will lose this court case because it is wrong what they are doing and the only way to fix this prob­lem is to stop cen­sor­ing con­tent and to stop monop­o­lis­ing con­tent and search results. 

It will be inter­est­ing to see this play out because Google is not going to want to stop doing all of the alleged­ly Evil things they have done since buy­ing the com­pa­ny that orig­i­nal­ly had the mot­to Do no Evil. 

Alleged­ly Google has been engaged in Evil on a reg­u­lar basis. 

Just try to search for any pos­i­tive opin­ion on Trump, repub­li­cans or neg­a­tive news about democ­rats and you will see what Google does not want you to see.
