What are they and how do they work?

Recent­ly we have seen reports from the Media about exec­u­tive orders that the Biden Admin­is­tra­tion is mak­ing that may not be entire­ly right…

Can an exec­u­tive order be reversed?

Pres­i­den­tial exec­u­tive orders, once issued, remain in force until they are can­celed, revoked, adju­di­cat­ed unlaw­ful, or expire on their terms. At any time, the pres­i­dent may revoke, mod­i­fy or make excep­tions from any exec­u­tive order, whether the order was made by the cur­rent pres­i­dent or a pre­de­ces­sor.

Anoth­er thing that the Media have tried to do was to say that an exec­u­tive order regard­ing (drilling for oil) could not be undone by the next pres­i­dent…

But that would appear to be untrue.

Anoth­er thing was that the media also put out that con­gress would have to be involved in revers­ing those odd orders.

That is also not true…

We know that when Pres­i­dent Biden came into office he reversed many of the exec­u­tive orders that Trump has already put in place.

So it only makes sense that IF Biden can reverse pres­i­dent Trump’s orders, then Trump can also reverse Bidens.

That makes sense, also remem­ber that the media have dif­fi­cul­ties in telling the truth…

well it would seem to be that in fact many of these “last minute” “orders” can and like­ly will be squashed …
