Will Ron Paul derail the chance for the republicans to win if he chooses to run as an independent?
It is possible but you have to wonder if the man really loves this country and respects the process,
(if you dont win as a republican)
The idea that you can get a second chance as an independent, is something that a few people are considering right now. This did not work for others in the past, it only managed to siphon off votes that might have gone for other candidates.
The real question is this will Ron Paul, realize this and do the right thing for America or will he push on and continue to try to upset the process so that the democrats can stay in office long enough to finish out the liberal agenda that threatens to cause America to fail?
Ron Paul is a great Candidate, he stands for some great things, but he may not be able to gain the nomination, that is sort of unfair, but beyond that it is also probably something that is a reality and not only Ron Paul but also Newt Gingrinch must come to terms with this issue, since the late 1960s there has not been an American president that was not tall and attractive, I know, its not fair, but the fact is that for the most part, elected officials are attractive and tall. You just have to look good in front of a camera these days in order to get elected, which is one reason why Mitt Romney is in the lead, right now, he looks good, but he is probably not going to be a good leader. We know what happens when you elect a man based on the way he looks or based on other criteria such as looks over his ability to lead, when you have a weak leader you have a serious problem.
I actually like Ron Paul and Newt Gingrinch, however, the sad thing about this process is that these men would make great leaders but they just are not going to be elected. If they were smart about this thing they would make alliances, with a stronger candidate and be like Sarah Palin, make more money “not running for president” Newt, is likely the smartest guy on the stage, but he has a bad record, (allegedly) He is from the old guard and people want newness, they want young, they want inspired, that is not going to happen in either of these candidates.
