Absolute power corrupts absolutely

There is a slippery sloop that defies imagination, its called freedom of speech but what happens when the media becomes so corrupted that freedom is lost?

When you watch as the media openly engage in hate, derision, division and the type of behavior designed to divide a nation, you have to wonder is this really the freedom of speech that the founding fathers talked about in the Constitution?

There is a heart of darkness in the media that must be cut out or we may well face the ruin of this nation and it will be at the hands of a very small percentage of the population.  At what point does the freedom of the press become the oppression of the people?  It is true that in the past the freedom of the press was something that was required and needed.  In fact we still need it, however were not getting that kind of situation now.  What were getting now is a kind of heartlessness, that should never be allowed to grow in the press, it is a corrupting cancer, a dark soul-less evil that only has one goal to destroy humanity.

“There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him.”
