Biased news coverage?

Spread the love

The lies of the liberals, will they ever learn?

Can you say, go back and start over again, what trash…

Amazing stuff folks just when you think you have seen the most insulting human behavior out there you see a story like this.

You tell us, is this biased news coverage or is it bad reporting or is it something else, we dont know for sure but it looks like really bad reporting, at least so far it does, here is the headline from MSNBC

You know I am not a professional reporter but I know better than to bury the recall notice in fine print or below the fold, were not stupid, but apparently the alleged biased media think we are not smart enough to figure it out.

FDA knew of problems at plant that made tainted alcohol wipes
Documents show sterilization issues as early as 2009; dozens may have been sickened

Now here is the recall notice published by the FDA.

In the story by the “other news company” the firm associated with the story was either not promitatly published or it was set aside, not sure which it is, because it looks like there are three stories, the real story, the MSNBC story and the parents story.

I know one thing I would want to know about the recall, but apparently this is just not the case with MSNBC (allegedly) you decide because this looks like smoke and mirrors, the real story is below, you may not read it on that “other website”

Recall — Firm Press Release (read full release here)

FDA posts press releases and other notices of recalls and market withdrawals from the firms involved as a service to consumers, the media, and other interested parties. FDA does not endorse either the product or the company.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — February 7, 2011 ‑Neuro Resource Group, Inc. (NRG) has become aware of the market recall of Triad Group’s alcohol prep pads, alcohol swabs, and alcohol swabsticks manufactured by Triad in the United States and marketed under various brand names, (http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm239219.htm9). The Triad Group alcohol prep pads are co-packaged and distributed with NRG devices to customers in the United States and internationally.

According to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Medwatch communication, the recall was initiated due to concerns about potential contamination of the Triad Group’s products with the bacteria, Bacillus cereus. This recall involves those products marked as sterile as well as non-sterile. Use of contaminated alcohol prep pads, alcohol swabs, and alcohol swabsticks could lead to life-threatening infections, especially in at-risk populations, including immune suppressed and surgical patients. The Triad wipes may also be labeled “Select”; “Select Medical Products”; “PSS Select”, or “PSS World Medical, Inc.” The subject Triad/Select alcohol wipes previously provided with NRG devices should be discarded immediately. NRG is currently providing alcohol wipes that are not subject to recall.
