Minor­i­ty Report…

Imag­ine what would hap­pen if like the sci­ence fic­tion movie “Minor­i­ty Report” is set in the near future where “think­ing about a crime” could land you in jail.

While the movie is quite inter­est­ing and in some ways very scary the truth about the future is chal­lenged.

Almost every­one in this fic­tion­al plot is absolute­ly con­vinced that an inno­cent man will become a mur­der­er.

The truth is often dif­fer­ent…

When you think about how often the media are intent on por­tray­ing a news sto­ry in a par­tic­u­lar way and also often incor­rect­ly peo­ple get hurt.

What would hap­pen if one day it became ille­gal to think about doing some­thing bad.

What if we are clos­er to the thought police than you ever thought !

More and more we are see­ing a trend where the media cre­ate guilt or inno­cence depend­ing on the col­or of skin or the polit­i­cal views of some­one online.

The truth here is that no mat­ter what it might look like skip­ping evi­dence and truth in favor of instant jus­tice is just plain wrong…
